At the office of Dr. Daryl Yorek, our friendly, dedicated, and energetic team is committed to working with you and your family to create a positive experience every time you visit our practice.
We welcome you with warm smiles to our practice!
Hi! My name is Kathy. I have worked in the orthodontic field for many years and have held the position of Scheduling Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager. I have always been a “numbers” person so it has been a good fit to be the Financial Coordinator for Dr. Yorek.
It’s amazing to watch the transformation that takes places with braces. I love to see the increased confidence and self esteem that comes with a beautiful smile and now I get to help our patients and parents work out the financial details to achieve that smile!
My husband Dean and I love being grandparents, spending time with family, camping, going to concerts, and I love to cook!
Hi! My name is Katie and I’m the head assistant here at Dr. Yorek’s. I’ve been in Dental as of February of 2016 and in Orthodontics since December of 2016 and have loved it ever since! I moved here from Nebraska and found my new home in Puyallup with my husband, Austin and our Olde English Bulldogge, Sebastian. We’re just a few homebodies that love music. I love playing with makeup as well! I personally have a huge passion in making someone’s smile their favorite asset and that’s what led me to Dr. Yorek’s. He has the same passion and truly cares about all his patients. We’re so happy to have you here and take care of you the best we can!
I am Monika and my dental assistant career began in Heidelberg, Germany. I worked there in an Orthodontic office for 8 years. With my husband’s military career we eventually, after a lot of moves, got stationed in Washington.
We have a 10 year old daughter Lillian and a petting zoo (2 dogs/3 guinea pigs/3 birds)! In my free time I like to spend time with family, garden and take care of our little farm. I am passionate about orthodontics and the mechanics of it. I love working with our entire staff!
Hi, I’m Tracy, your Scheduling Coordinator and I have worked in Orthodontics and dentistry for 9 years in England. I immigrated to Washington State in December 2016 after marrying my sweetheart Mike and in our free time we love to travel and support the Seahawks.
I first became interested in Orthodontics while having treatment that included jaw surgery (and a lot of soup) and I’m passionate about building relationships with our patients and families. I enjoy working with Dr. Yorek and the best team creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Hi, I’m Kelly. As Dr Yorek’s Treatment Coordinator, l am the person that “walks” you through your Orthodontic Consultation and helps you begin your orthodontic journey.
Prior to becoming a Treatment Coordinator, I enjoyed a teaching career in Art and Special Education. For many years I taught private art classes, did graphic and interior design work and art therapy. When I needed to make a career change Dr Yorek encouraged me to join his team. I already had an interest and sincere appreciation for Orthodontics since having treatment as an adult by Dr Yorek. Orthodontic treatment was a milestone I had long waited for after feeling self-conscious about my smile since childhood.
I truly love my work and find it rewarding to see how beautiful smiles really do change lives. It is a real pleasure to get to know our patients and their families and share this journey with them. I like to use my education background to share the wonderful world of orthodontics and sleep apnea with our patients. I’m proud to be part of a fantastic professional staff who make our office a welcoming and comforting experience for our patients. I’m especially fond of one of our team members, my faithful companion Jackson. It’s a special bonus to be able to share Jackson with our patients who adore him.
I’m a proud advocate for children’s causes, I have been a CASA worker, a former board member for the Children’s Museum, I’ve volunteered in many school activities and participate in mentoring programs for young adults. My boys claim my legacy of feeding kids, especially homemade baked goods is huge.
After raising my three wonderful sons I now have more time for my many passions. I enjoy creating art, reading, gardening, traveling, cooking, spoiling my grandson “Jack”, volunteering and raising chickens.
Office Mascot, Greeter and Comforter
Jackson was born on a miniature horse farm in Texas in 2009. His father was Champion Wire Fox Terrier “Aristocrat”. He won Kelly’s heart immediately with his happy, easy going personality and continues to win hearts wherever he goes. (Even those of “Postal workers” and UPS workers) When not greeting and entertaining our patients he spends his free time chasing Frisbees and squirrels, taking walks on the beach, riding in the car and napping. His favorite treats are string cheese and Sojo’s dog treats.
